Greenville County, SC (December 5, 2018) – Police have identified the man who lost his life in a fatal accident this week when his vehicle ended up overturned in a creek. The South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the scene on Center Drive near the area of Grace Meadow Road.
Police discovered the vehicle turned over in Beaver Dam Creek. The driver had been headed south when he was involved in an accident and went off the side of the road, the vehicle headed straight for the water.
One victim was found deceased in the water at the scene while a diving team scoured the surrounding area to look for other victims. The victim was identified as 34-year-old Bruno Filipe Paiva Russo.
The accident is still being investigated by the highway patrol and the coroner’s office.
