Bradley County, GA – Woman Loses Life in Serious Fatal Accident

Bradley County, GA (November 26, 2018) – A woman lost her life in a fatal accident that took place on Sunday afternoon, November 25, around 5:12 p.m. on the Dalton Pike.

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of the accident near the 5000 block of Dalton Pike after receiving multiple calls. The female lost her life at the scene of the accident while two other patients were transported to the hospital with injuries.

Troopers said that a man was in a Ford Explorer and driving north on the highway when he suddenly swerved to avoid striking another car. The vehicle lost control, flipped, and struck the top of a Jeep traveling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Jeep was identified as 33-year-old Marla Teresa Boyd who died in the crash. At this time, charges are being pressed against the other drivers.

The roads were closed down until 9:30 p.m. and troopers continue to investigate.
